Job Description:
Our Client, Fashion Lounge is a new independent outlet, which is set to open in Dubai by January 2007. It will be a trendy and modern lounge offering mostly tapas style international dishes. Currently the team is seeking for a professional Executive Chef to assist both in pre-opening and in operations. Our ideal candidate will be creative, artistic, reliable, and motivated. The candidate should have minimum of 2 years prior experience as an Executive Chef. In addition, preferably the chef should have some pastry background, and pre-opening experience. The selected Executive chef should be assisting in the pre-opening activities.
Following are some of the responsibilities for the pre-opening: Participating in the selection process for the kitchen staff Developing standardized recipes Recipe costing Producing innovative menu Assisting in kitchen design Assisting in selection of suppliers etc The main responsibilities of the Executive Chef as part of the operation would be discussed later with the selected candidates.

Job Description:
This role is based in the Middle East with travel across the GCC. Please only apply if you fit the brief, have at least 10 years restaurant senior management experience and will relocate in the Middle East. Their major leading client is implementing a new role to ensure service; standards and profit are driven to exceed expectation. The Business Head will be responsible for the management of the Casual Dining experience through performance management and guidance of the Divisional Managers. This is a large, autonomous role reporting to a highly experience and polished GM. You will have international casual dining experience with the ability to reduce costs and drive top line. English language is essential, Arabic desirable, Degree educated; ideally Masters but solid education and work history. You will be commercial, communicative, polished but not flashy with a strong understanding of managing a hugely multi-national team across multiple brands in numerous countries. I would expect this role to initial be managing approximately 80 units in 4 countries. Salary and package is negotiable.
